Simply put, a dynamic EQ allows you to EQ a source signal based on its dynamic level. For example, the DPR-901 II could compensate for the diminished perception of sibilance in a soft vocal passage by boosting the high frequencies ONLY when the vocalist dropped below a certain dynamic level. Of course, the applications are numerous-You can be as creative as you want! The DPR-901 II can be configured to affect one input with four bands of EQ or stereo/dual mono inputs with 2 bands of EQ.
